The in-progress project will be on display for 4 days in Cowgill lobby starting tomorrow and running until Sunday, November 12.
Virginia Tech ‘s College of Architecture & Urban Studies (CAUS) always has something interesting on display in their lobby and for the next 4 days, it’s Landscape Architecture! We are excited to have this opportunity share what we’ve been working on over at the Landscape Architecture Program‘s Collegiate Square Studio!

Today, 3 graduate students from LAR worked hard on readying all the different studio projects for transport over to Cowgill. For our 10′ tall base map, that meant a lot of prep work!
We are extending a warm thank you to those students for taking care with our labels, pictures, string, pins, posters and boards. Without you, we wouldn’t be headed to Cowgill!
Here are a few pictures to illustrate what these students did to bring our work to you:

edit: received a picture late last night of the progress in Cowgill at around 9pm!

Join us to see what’s happening in our 5th-year design studio & how we are leading 4 groups of students through an exploration of what a 21st century National Water Trail could be.
The students are working hard on their in-progress presentation videos and we are looking forward to sharing those here on the blog in our news feed Friday night. Be sure to visit again soon to see how they are applying their concepts to on-the-ground designs.
